Team kit

Our Club kit is supplied by iProSports and can be ordered directly from their website using this link.

The clothing is not compulsory.  For those attending Open Meets, we do ask that swimmers wear a Team Jorvik swimming hat (supplied free when you first join and available from Deb at a cost of £5 if you need a replacement) and, if possible, a club t-shirt.

Swimming kit and equipment

All kit can be bought from Pro Swimwear. By clicking through on this link, Team Jorvik will earn commission, which all goes back into the Club.  They have an excellent range, prices are competitive and they offer free delivery on orders over £25 and free size exchange.

Or Sporty Swim offer our members 10% off when you use code JORVIK at the checkout.  Delivery is free.  Sporty Swim usually have a pop-up shop at Jorvik galas, where they often have special prices available.

ASA Fees

All members are affiliated to Swim England, Swim England North East and Yorkshire Swimming Association.  These fees cover insurance for the swimmers whilst training with the Club and competing in galas.  The fees are set by these organisations each year and are subject to change.  Members joining part way through the year will still have to pay the full fee.

For 2022 the fees are:
Swim England Category 1 Member £9.35
Swim England Category 2 Member £28.15
Swim England Category 3 Member £5.25
North East Region fees £5.50 (all categories)
Yorkshire County fees 60p (Categories 1 & 2)

Category 1 covers all swimmers aged 8 and under, and those in Swim Squad who have chosen not to compete. (Swimmers who turn 9 during the year will need to upgrade to Category 2 membership if they compete in any galas during the year.)

Category 2 covers all swimmers who are aged 9 or older (except non-competing Swim Squad members)

Category 3 members are non-swimming Club volunteers and our Coaches/Teachers. The Club pays the fees for all our volunteers.
