The clothing is not compulsory. For those attending Open Meets, we do ask that swimmers wear a Team Jorvik swimming hat (supplied free when you first join and available from Deb at a cost of £5 if you need a replacement) and, if possible, a club t-shirt. ASA FeesAll members are affiliated to Swim England, Swim England North East and Yorkshire Swimming Association. These fees cover insurance for the swimmers whilst training with the Club and competing in galas. The fees are set by these organisations each year and are subject to change. Members joining part way through the year will still have to pay the full fee. For 2020 the fees are: Swim England Category 1 Member £9.20 Swim England Category 2 Member £27.75 Swim England Category 3 Member £5.20 North East Region fees £5.50 (all categories) Yorkshire County fees 60p (Categories 1 & 2) Category 1 covers all swimmers aged 8 and under, and those in Swim Squad/MSMW who have chosen not to compete. (Swimmers who turn 9 during the year will need to upgrade to Category 2 membership if they compete in any galas during the year.) Category 2 covers all swimmers who are aged 9 or older (except non-competing Swim Squad/MSMW members) Category 3 members are non-swimming Club Volunteers. The Club pays the fees for all our volunteers. |
